2247 Van Luven Rd, Baltimore: A classic fieldstone Georgian facade, the William Blezard residence, circa 1858, is beautifully captivating. It is approximately 68 acres with a spring fed creek and outbuildings (barns). At its peak, the Blezard property occupied about 200 acres, extending south beyond what is now Highway 401. Blezard’s descendants sold in 1958, during the construction of the freeway. In more recent years, the house has been used in film and TV productions, including the popular “Murdoch Mysteries”. In 2026, the house was offered for sale at $1,395,000.
